1939-40 : Review

Even with war clouds looming, the football season for 1939-40 was started all over the country. However, as far as I know, it ceased in Fife after only 3 league games.

Kincardine had merged with Tullialan Juveniles to play in the Scottish Junior League (East) although they only finished 8 league games. They still played at West End Park in Kincardine, which was opposite the entrance to Tullialan Castle.

The National tournament was also drawn, although the Fife teams only participated in the first round - as far as I know. The tournament was completed in their absence. The date of the first round games was on September 2.
