1908-09 : Review

Lochgelly St.Patrick's, who were named after an Amateur dramatic company, prevailed the longest in the Scottish, before going down in Kirkintilloch.

St.Patrick's joined up with Lochgelly Rangers at the end of this, their second season as Juniors, to form Lochgelly Juniors. This team would later join the ranks of the Seniors.

Townhill United, from the north side of Dunfermline, reached the Semis of the East of Scotland.

Fife was still split into three championships.

the West of Fife League championship was won by the team from Lassodie, a community no longer with us, although the games were not completed.
there were only four teams in the East Fife competition.
