In
the National tournament, Fife had five representatives.
Pathhead
bowed out, in the second round, to the first finalists, Woodburn
Kirkcaldy
Albion survived until the last sixteen, before being beaten by Shawbank of
Kilmarnock.
Hearts
of Beath were beaten in Edinburgh/ Gorgie by Dalry Albert., who later were
crushed by Kirkcaldy Albion.
Locally,
Kirkcaldy Albion won the two big cups, the Kirkcaldy Cup and the Cowdenbeath
Cup.
This
was also the season that Raith Rovers turned Senior - leaving behind them a
Junior team: Raith Athletic.
